Harkányi Strandfürdő is located in the center of the city, in the 13.5-hectare old park of Harkány. The park’s old oak trees, sycamore trees, and linden trees provide pleasant shade even in the hottest summer heat. From May to October, the beach spa welcomes its guests with renovated outdoor pools, a renewed slide park, spa concerts, sports facilities and family-friendly programs.
The renovation works that started last spring are ongoing in the spa. The Lepke pools and the surroundings of the pools have also been renewed . As of the 2016 beach season, a renewed and expanded slide park and new water experiences await beachgoers.
New slide park
From the summer of 2016, in the north-west direction from the butterfly pool, next to the sports fields, seven types of slides await both young and old. it also offers several sliding options for all ages.
A family slide awaits the little ones, where up to four people can slide from a height of 3 meters at the same time.
The braver can slide down the kamikaze from almost 10 meters.
Guests can use a body slide or an onion slide, in which the speed is so high that the momentum takes the guests around the 9-meter diameter section 3-4 times.
There are also UFO and anaconda slides, and in some cases bathers can drift down on a rubber mattress .
A special element is the darkened tube slide , on which the sun shines every 30-40 cm, while bathers also lose their sense of space.
Opening hours of the beach bath
In the Strandfürdő, the outdoor pools start filling up and opening from mid-May. And the real beach season can start with the beginning of the school holidays.
- From May 17 to July 2: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m
- From July 2 to August 23: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m
- From August 24 to September 20: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- During events, it welcomes guests with extended opening hours and evening bathing.
Harkány Spa Festival

A popular service of Harkányi Strand is the baby-mama park . In the high season, creative children’s activities and a playground await the little ones. And childcare ensures calm, carefree rest and treatments for parents and grandparents.
